Donald R. Roberts, Esquire received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1995. In 1989 he received a Certificate of Attendance from the FBI National Academy, 159th Session in Quantico, Virginia, where he completed all academic aspects of FBI training. He retired in 2009 from the Department of Justice for the State of Delaware, as Deputy Attorney General, where he headed the state-wide Child Predator Task Force dealing with Internet Crimes Against Children. For 10 years prior he was assigned to the Sex Offender Unit, primarily prosecuting child sexual abuse cases. He retired in 1994 from the Wilmington Department of Police, as Lieutenant, where he was: Commanding Officer of Communications and Crime Analysis; Shift Commander of the Patrol Division; Supervisor of Personnel and planning; Investigative Supervisor of Drug, Vice, and Organized Crime; and Supervisor for Criminal Investigations. From 1997-2000 he was an Adjunct Instructor at Wilmington University who taught the Criminal Justice Program, Constitutional Law, Introduction to Courts, Criminal procedures and Evidence, and served as a Consultant to the Masters Program in Criminal Justice. From 1986-1989 he was an Adjunct Instructor at Delaware Technical and Community college teaching in the Criminal Justice Program - Constitutional Law. |
