Minster & Facciolo, LLC
Estate Planning
The Estate Planning process is at the heart of Family Law.  Proper Estate Planning insures that your loved ones will be properly cared for, should anything happen to you.  The attorneys of Minster & Facciolo view our role in your Estate Planning process as facilitators.  Using our knowledge of the law, and your knowledge of those you care about, we are committed to helping you examine every eventuality in planning the distribution of your estate.

During the initial consultation, we will take time to discuss your vision of your estate, taking into account the individual needs of your beneficiaries, your goals for your estate, and any tax consequences of your decisions.  During this consultation, we will also examine your needs should you become incapacitated.  After the initial consultation, one of our attorneys will draft your Will, based on your individual needs.  In addition to your Will, we will also draft an Advanced Health Care Directive, making your wishes regarding medical intervention clear, as well as a Power of Attorney, which grants authority to a surrogate of your choosing to manage your personal affairs in the event of your incapacity.  While drafting your documents, we will be in contact with you, should we notice any foreseeable problems with your Estate Plan.  Once drafting is complete, you will meet with your attorney again to go over the documents, and to execute them.

Our highest commitment in the drafting process is to the creation of Estate Planning documents which assure that your intent is clear, and that your wishes will be carried out.
